so it’s just $1,000?

In addition to the $1,000 program fee, you need a plane ticket ($800-$1200), shuttle from airport to ashram (around $50, details to follow), room and board (you pay temple directly), money to spend if you plan on going on a tour.

Should I exchange for Indian money at the airport?

Noooooo, details to follow on best practice here.

How much is room and board?

Room and board will be by donation. How much is between you and the Divine. If you can only afford $2/night, then it’s that. If you drive a Mercedes, then it could be $200/night. If you have a timeshare in Vegas, it’s $500/night. Ultimately, it’s between you and your higher self, but the goal is to have those with means make up for those who don’t. Not in a punishing way, but to create energetic balance.

Plane tickets?

Emirates or Qatar tickets can run $1000+. India air as low as $750. I will check into a travel agent.

How much should I bring?

Bring what you need. Wear layers for cool mornings and nights and less for during the day. You can wash your clothes while you are there by using laundry soap, clean water and then hanging clothes to dry. Works great. Bring ACTIVATED CHARCOAL CAPSULES. Sometimes stuff happens in the gut, this will handle it.

Food alergies?

The food at the ashram is generally vegetarian with some dairy added sometimes. The dairy is from Brahma cows on property. It’s not heavy, but tourist food is. You may want to eat heavier, oilier foods in the days leading up to your trip to prepare the body.

What kind of yoga will you teach?

We will honor all yoga traditions. We will offer you tweaks to expose the knowledge we are trying to share. Same with Mediation styles. We will offer space to do “your practice”. Group approach will be more in allignment with prana kriya inspired practice.
